Catherine passed away peacefully on the 13th July 2026 aged 89 years.

Beloved wife of Tony for 64 years. A cherished Mum of Catherine and Jacqueline.

A proud and loving Grandmother (Mar) to Liam, Kieran, Bethany, Bryony and Katie-Rose. Great-grandmother to Toby, Rosie and Edie.

A loving Mother in law to John and Grand Mother in law to Charley.

Cath also enjoyed the friendship of Joee, partner of Bethany and Owen, Fiancée of Bryony.

Cath will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Cath had a love of flowers and frequently asked that there be lots of flowers at her funeral, if you wish to send a floral tribute, please send directly to the funeral directors.

If you wish to make a donation in Cath’s memory, the chosen charity is The Stroke Association. These can be either be left in the donation box at the exit of the chapel or online via funeral notices at Donations in memory of Catherine Smith

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday 5th August 2026 at 12.00pm in St Johns Church, Westwood Heath Road, Coventry, CV4 8GN.

The service is to be followed by the interment at Lentons Lane Cemetery, Shilton Lane, Coventry CV2 1AA.
